As part of our wonderful Advent (nightly family time) celebration, one of our special activities was to sleep next to the Christmas tree.
As a child, I remember how magical and enchanting it was to be next to the Christmas tree at night. Main lights out, twinkling lights shining and all of the beauty that radiated around it. So I thought it would be a treat to sleep in front of ours. The kids seemed to enjoy it and pray that it too becomes part of our families tradition.
That picture of Gillian nose to nose with her animal is one of the most precious things I’ve ever seen!
