I have never been good at video games and was a Wii bit skeptical about The Wii. Could it really fun for the whole family? Would it pass the “I Must Be Good At This The First Time or I Will Never Try This Again!” test? Surely not.
Although I have not mastered any game yet, I am having LOTS of fun trying. I love that Kip and I have another way to CONNECT with our children. It is always fun to play on their turf whenever possible.
Not only has our Wii little family been known to spend a couple of hours challenging each other to a match or a race, but it has also enticed my parents and sister to come over more often. Wii have chosen to overlook the fact that it is probably because they enjoying bowling and playing tennis more than it is our famously stimulating company. But hey, whatever works.
I have to tell you, it is so fun when your little girl asks if you want to play Mario Kart with her. We are both terrible but we laugh the entire time. And at night, after the kids are sleeping, Kip and I have been known to get in a race or two as well.
All in all, my doubts about The Wii are gone.
That is so funny…and it is your famously stimulating company!! Not just the Wii, silly Ruffles!!
It really is a fun way to be together as a family – even be a little active – and playing “video games” with the kids. I’m horrible at Mario Kart too – but it’s still a blast. Allen and Judah love to play that together! Glad your family has another fun way to hang out.
