Corn Nuts!
You either LOVE them or HATE them!
It is mostley divided in our home. Gillian and I love them. Hayden tells daddy he doesn’t like them but will eat them with us girls when he isn’t around.
We try hard to not eat them when daddy is around. Sometimes unavoidable though.
Do you like them? We want to know!
Life’s Not Fair!
“Mommy! I am bored, can I please have a playdate?” “Honey, we tried, nobody is available to play.”
“Life isn’t fair! Hump! Hayden always gets to play with the boys (next door)! I never get to play with anyone!”
“Gigi, that isn’t true. We tried to see if someone can play and they aren̵ [...]
What is waiting around the corner?
I admit that I often times forget to rejoice in the good times (I am getting better).
I often find myself fearing what could be lurking around the corner at the very time I am realizing my current blessings. It is so liberating when you realize God’s sovereignty over all things.
Tonight as Kip and I were talking, this subject came up a [...]
He hears HIS children
I must share the blessings we have received this week. I am so incredibly comforted by God’s provision and love for His children. As I have written before it does my heart so good to see all of the ways that God works in our lives and the lives of others on a daily basis.
Kip and I had accepted the fact that we were not going to have [...]
Do We Hear the Ice Cream Man?
Why YES!!! There is still such thing as “The Ice Cream Man”.
The kiddies were surprised to find out that Mom and Dad had experienced the sheer joy that comes from having a silly little van drive up your street while playing some creepy little tune, that stops to sell little kids ice cream!
This only happens on Willy Wonka or some [...]
Fifteen Years of Marriage
Today is a very special day for Kip and I. Fifteen years ago today, we went before God and committed ourselves to each other. It is hard for us to believe that it was really 15 years ago. Time does fly when you are having fun.
What a precious and delicate thing; Marriage.
We have surely had our difficult times (who doesn’t) but we a [...]
Mama Mia
Friday night (our last free night in Salt Lake) our group of 12 walked to the mall for dinner and a movie.
I could not have imagined a better night out with girlfriends. We were all so tired, but we had the greatest time and this was one of the many highlights of our trip.
Our small group, a sisterhood of stampers if you will, were joined b [...]
I am home from Convention
I have so much to share about my 4 day trip. I am so happy to be back home with my family, as I missed them so much, but I did have a very fun filled trip. I promise to write more soon and share some amazing stories and pictures.
If you love to craft, please be on the look out on my website (especially my Stampin’ UP! page) for some a [...]
I Wish For….
…Rain on my birthday!
What do you know…that little man got his wish.
H and his sister are so like my sister and I. Playing in the rain is so much fun, especially the warm ones. We used to take our dolls out and play in the water running down our street. Nowadays my kiddos love to play out on the deck, splash around, ride their [...]
